Accommodation Listings
The private rented accommodation (PRA) office compiles a list of private sector properties to assist students who do not wish to live in halls of residence. Whilst we monitor certificates for gas safety and request that landlords comply with our terms and conditions of registration, we do not inspect or manage any of the properties listed. You are strongly advised to verify all the details shown on the list with the landlord, visit the property to assess its suitability and request to see a copy of the current gas safety certificate. If, after viewing you decide to take up a tenancy agreement for one of the properties listed please read the contract provided by the landlord very carefully before signing and paying a deposit.
Students Tenant Charter
Taking up one of the properties listed on our database is an acknowledgement that you accept the terms stated in the student tenant charter.
We need your help
If you come across any accommodation that has already been rented, please contact the private rented accommodation office by email at pra@mdx.ac.uk or by phoning +44 (0)20 8411 5068, so that other students do not waste their time and money. We thank you and appreciate your assistance in this matter.
Disclaimer
Although the PRA team are happy to give advice, we are not normally able to intervene in any disputes. Accordingly Middlesex University does not accept any liability for any loss or damage arising due to unsatisfactory accommodation arrangements made by you. Please take care when making these arrangements.
